Biography
After earning a Ph.D. in psychology with a focus on decision-making, including cooperative and consumer behavior, Hiroshi Matsui conducted research in behavioral economics and neuroeconomics at the National Institute of Radiological Sciences. He subsequently spent approximately ten years working in industry, including at ABeam Consulting and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, where he specialized in data analytics and digital transformation (DX) consulting.
Since 2023, he has served as an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Economics at Osaka University. His current research integrates psychological science, practical industry experience, and AI-based methodologies to develop life design programs that promote well-being, while advancing applied research and industry–academia collaboration in the fields of human and organizational development.
